Impromptu Portraits

On a whim yesterday, we decided to head out to Vasquez Rocks, one of our local state parks and also the set for many, many movies.  I knew that it was the wrong time of the day for taking photos. The shadows being cast did not lend to good photography. Although I didn't get any really great scenery, I did torture my 6 year old son one more time by asking him to be my photo subject. I was really surprised by what I got.
